What counts toward your plan
An application is when someone sends a resume to your job's application address, and those are unlimited. You're charged for assessments: applicants who pass your keyword and location filters and are scored against the job's custom rubric.
This helps you absorb applicant noise without paying for every inbound resume.
What counts as an assessment
One assessment = one applicant who passes filters and is scored against the job. For example:
- A resume arrives for your job
- The applicant meets keyword and location requirements
- Automated Recruiter scores the applicant against the job's custom rubric
That counts as one assessment.
What does NOT count
Many applicants never reach the assessment stage. These do not count toward your plan:
- Someone who applies more than once (duplicates)
- Applicants filtered out by location
- Applicants filtered out by keyword requirements
- Resumes that fail early qualification checks
- Corrupt or unreadable files
You only pay for applicants who reach the assessment stage.
How we filter before assessing
We apply job-specific keyword checks based on the needs of that role, along with the job's location rules, before assessing an applicant. These filters are intentionally focused on obvious mismatches. Filtered applicants are never assessed and do not count toward your plan.

Your assessment count resets each month based on your billing cycle.
Billing details
The essentials are below. Checkout will show the current plan terms before payment.
Solo free trial
Solo plans include a free trial of up to 7 days or 50 assessments, whichever comes first. You add a payment method at checkout when you start the trial; cancel anytime during the trial. If you continue after the trial and do not cancel first, the Solo plan you selected becomes your paid plan.
Team and Agency trials
Team and Agency trial terms are forthcoming and may differ from Solo. Those plans will launch after Solo plans and will show final terms before checkout.
Monthly renewals and overages
Paid plans renew monthly. Your assessment count resets each paid billing period. Overage is billed in arrears: added to your next monthly invoice, or to a final invoice when a cancellation takes effect.
To help control spend, you can set a hard overage cap. Once the cap is reached, additional scoring pauses instead of silently increasing your bill.
Plan changes and cancellation
Self-serve upgrades may take effect right away. Downgrades and cancellations generally take effect at the start or end of the next billing period, so already-paid access is not removed mid-period.
Payment, invoices, and taxes
Payment methods, invoices, payment recovery, and cancellation scheduling may be handled through the billing portal. Applicable taxes may be calculated at checkout, renewal, or overage billing.
